“Another Håkan” offers hope that people can be unique and do not have to fit into conventional moulds. Although Håkan Hägg has faced difficulties in his life, he is often full of positive energy, and the documentary has a beautiful and hopeful tone.

Gunilla Film is developing a new documentary about Swedish-speaking migrants in Europe.

Co-produced with SVT Dokumentär, the film follows people who, as a result of the EU’s Dublin system, have been deported or forced to move on within Europe. Today, they live in a state of legal and human limbo. Through their individual stories, the documentary explores the consequences of a system that fails to take people’s actual lives into account, and what it means to have once called Sweden home.
